Yeodesigns 737-200 flight model

Featured Replies

I am not a 732 pilot, but having been many times in its cockpit and real sim. I can bet the Yeodesigns 737-200 flies like a rocket in comparison to the real one. Are there any better findings for more realistic 732 .air files able to be combined with the excellent visual model of the Yeodesigns latest version ?If yes what modifications are needed in the aircraft.cfg ?Kyprianos Biris :-cool[link:avsim.com/greece/hvacc]Hellenic vACChttp://vatsim-eur.org/images/VATSIM-EURs.gif

I don't get into AIR editing much (although he is) unless it's an easy parameter or two. The Yeo 737 is in fact a fabulous model.. it should be nominated for `model of the year' (read - nominated) but there were many dynamics issues. The MOI's were too low (as compared to MS 737), the auto-brakes needed to be enabled, and of course my favorite subject, tuning for `cruise pitch'. The 737 jumps off the runway and easily climbs at 3,500 fpm up to 10,000 or beyond with full payload.Go ahead to YeoDesigns.com and check the forums. They are open minded to inputs and suggestions unlike some other design groups. Send email to me and I'll discuss/send the CFG edits.Cheers..Gregory Abbey - Edwinnengineering
