May 18, 200224 yr Hi all,I have been using a Wingman Force 3D (without the force feedback) for about a year now and the joystick now has a large "dead" area in the middle (i.e.you can move the stick several degrees in any direction before it begins to take effect and you start to feel it "bite").My question is can I take the joystick apart and is something I can adjust to tighten the stick back to its original state or is just worn out and time to buy a new one?I really like the stick but this dead area is really starting to have an effect on the precision of my flying. Thanks to all who can offer advice,Kevin in CYOW
May 18, 200224 yr Some joysticks are simple and some are complicated. I'm sure you could get it apart but whether it is repairable is questionable until you open it up. The other part is cost. Is it worth the cost to open. If you do it yourself vice paying someone, it is probably worth opening just for the experience, especially if you are technically inclined. Bill Sieffert
