Good Day,I want to know , with of the following processor it's the best: (Please remind that's for Flight Simulator , I mean > Gaming System)--- Intel Pentium 4 Processor @ 2.26 GHz 533MHz FSB w/512 Cache.OR --- AMD

Bruno,You can make great systems with either CPU. Its not only the CPU but all the other things that make up the total computer, such as the MOBO, sound, graphics adapter, controller chips, RAM, case with proper cooling, and a superior power supply.I saw a post yesterday that there is a possible recall of the AMD XP2100+ due to instability. Visit www.amd.com to confirm.

Either CPU will give good performance, but I would lean toward the AMD processor with a motherboard that uses the new VIA 3333 chipset and PC 2700 memory. Some of the newer motherboards, such as ASUS A73333, have built-in CPU overheat protection. Even if you don't plan on overclocking the processor, be sure to get a cood cooling system and make sure your power supply is of good quality and sufficient output (at least 300 watts). There is some good info available over at tomshardware.com.Dale

i have just ordered an ASUS A7V333 with an Athlon XP 2000+ CPU and 512 MB of Kingmax 2700 RAM. I have read that AMD was having some issues with the 2100 CPUs. AMD is the better choice for a gaming system. Pentiums still serve the world of servers and networks best.John-PaulToronto

Thank you guys , I will go for an AMD XP 2100+ or 2200+
