July 15, 200223 yr Good evening everyone. I was told by a close friend of mine that there was a set of drivers for the VooDoo 3 video card. Yea I know it's crap LOL. But the pay they give us in the Army is barely enough to support my wife and 1 and a half kids. Let alone getting a new vid card.My issue is that I have a few aircraft, the new FSD T-38, a MD500 Hughes helo, and a few others that are showing up black. I was told it was that VooDoo doesn't support 32 something. But that there was a fix for it. That would allow me not only to see those, but to be able to see the water reflections and such. I just checked the VooDooFiles site and after about an hour of "I have no clue" searching, I settled on the bOing Pack 1. Which was probably not the best choice.I am currently running plenty of ram, on an AMD processor. Using Windows 2000Pro. I did try that little fix issue that I saw on one of these forums, it helped a bit, but not with my main problems. If ANYONE knows where I can get the fix for this, please "EMAIL" me as I don't get alot of time to visit the forums.
July 21, 200223 yr As you realize, the Voodoo3 is at the end of it graphics life. Try downloading updated driver from: http://www.voodoofiles.com/ or http://www.guru3d.com/ . Voodoo4 or 5 drivers will also work on the Voodoo3. Bill Sieffert
