July 17, 200223 yr Hi there,Well I recieved my new video card today, and it solved my lockup problem. Very exciting considering I've been without a real system for months. Amazing how you take FS for granted... it's a real pain in the arse when it's missing from your life. :-)Anyway, my new Leadtek video card has a S-Video adapter on it, and I have been trying to get an old RCA TV to work with it. Using the provided S-video to RCA adapter and the provided RCA cable I have managed to connect my video card to the TV set. However, after enabling the second display TV to Clone mode on nView (latest Nvidia drivers) for some reason I cannot get the second TV to display - all I get is a blizzard on the tube.Nview shows the dual display setup with my "Analog Display" being display 1 and set to default, and TV M/NTSC being the second display.Anything I've missed here? Probably something plainly obvious... I haven't done this before. :-)Thanks....
July 18, 200223 yr Have you considered these possibilities? Is there an input mode switch on the TV? I.e line-in/cable...Is the television on the right channel? (I ask this only because my television has a channel "au" that one uses when connecting via the RCA port.)Have you "Right Clicked" on your desktop to check properties? Is Windows aware that you want to use a second screen? I have a second (PCI) display adapter and until I activated it in the display properties, Windows didn't use it.Good luck!Doug
July 18, 200223 yr Hi. Make sure you set your res. to 640x480, first. You can only have your TV or your Monitor on at one time, not both. TV Here is what used W98SE.
