Hi, I have just installed windows 2000 on my PC and I am trying to get the following to work:Soundcard- Soundblaster PCI 128Joystick- Sidewinder Precision Probut I need three files that are missing from windows 2000 these are:msgame.sysportcls.sysmdmaud.drvif anyone can help PLEASE do, I am getting faustrated now, Microsoft do not have windows 2000 drivers for the joystick, and the sounblaster drivers found on the CD and on the website require the later of the two files from win2K.PLEASE could someone email me [email protected]

Hy!You can find msgame.sys and portcls.sys in the i386-Directory of your Windows2000-CD. Both are packed in a file named Driver.Cab, which you can open with Winzip.Normally both files are installed from this CD during the setup of the soundcard. So, my advice is to try to install the soundblaster-driver you already have, and when your PC asks for this files point it to the i386-Directory of your Win2k-CD (e.g.: E:I386, if E: is your CD-ROM-Drive).Let me know if you need further assistance!Danny(near EDFU)
