Hi everybody,I have just installed a Diamond Monster Fusion AGP video card into my computer system with the required drivers. When I go to Flight Simulator 2002, there are black square "boxes" enclosing the autogen trees and the runway lights including the lights of the airplane. The clouds, when flying through them, are enclosed by white square and rectangular shapes. The card is not known to have this problem. My system specifications: Pentium 2, 400Mhz, 96Mb RAM. What should I do?Thanks. Asad

I don't even know how you are getting FS2002 to operate with your system. You are processor limited and RAM limited. Your lucky that black squares are all you have.Read the side of the FS2002 box for minimum requirements.

I had a Rage Pro AGP onboard chipset display previous to installing the card. Flight Simulator 2002 did not have this problem then. By the way, I can run FS2002 in up to 10-15 fps with my computer with most of the display settings near maximum. The video card that I installed now is better than my Rage one. I exceed the minimum requirements. This I believe is a display problem. Should I download latest drivers for OpenGl and the video card? Please help. Asad.

Asad - A couple of thoughts. Don't worry about OpenGL, FS2002 doesn't use it. But updating the drivers would be a good idea. Also, in FS2002 be sure that either bi-linear or tri-linear filtering is turned on. And, I'd reload Directx 8.1 after the drivers are installed.
