November 6, 200223 yr Currently I have got a GeForce 2 MM/MX 400 - not bad - but I would like to have a better one. So which one should I buy next? A GeForce 4 or an ATI Radeon 7500 or better ? :-zhelp Christoph Sebek - Download my files at AVSIM File Library here
November 6, 200223 yr Any GF4 TI is better than even ATI 8500. However, with NV30 coming soon, if you are not in a hurry, you might wanna wait 1, 2 months, cause prices of ALL GF4 Ti will drop well below $200,and I would say that you will be able to get GF4 Ti4200 64MB for less than $100.Don't ever buy GF4 MX - buy only TI series.
November 6, 200223 yr Author Actually the GF2 MX was included when I bought my new PC. Anyway thanks a lot - keep that in mind. Christoph Sebek - Download my files at AVSIM File Library here
November 10, 200223 yr If you're in the market for a card right now, grab yourself a GeForce 4 Tixxxx. If you feel you can wait a little while, I'd recommend holding off until nVidia's new card, the NV30 comes out.Ryan-Flightpro08 :-cool VATSIM Pilot/ControllerZLA ARTCC Senior Controller (C-3)SAN TRACON Lead ASRC (Advanced Simulated Radar Client) Beta Tester-----------------------------My "Home Made" System Specs:Intel Pentium 4 2.2GHz ProcessorTurbo Gamer ATX Mid-Tower with 420W Power SupplyEPoX 4G4A Motherboard with Intel 845G ChipsetVisiontek XTASY GeForce4 128MB Ti4600 (Det 30.30 Drivers)512MB PC2100 DDR RAM40GB Matrox 7200RPM Hard DriveWindows XP Home Edition SP1*No CPU or GPU Overclocking*3dMark2001SE Score: 11298-----------------------------Click [link:ftp.avsim.com/library/esearch.php?DLID=&Name=&FileName=&Author=Ryan+Fretwell&CatID=Root]Here to Download my New American Eagle POSKY CRJ-200!
