P4 2Ghz vs AMD

What would you pick? Why? Frame rates what is a good frame rate?I want sugestions on what size PC and what to put in it. I enjoy flying FS 2002 but it can tax a PC what CPU does one need? Tell me about yours and will FS2004 need a faster CPU and RAM?

P4 2 GHz: $150Athlon XP 2400+: $174IMHO I would go with Athlons. Can get them cheaper than P4s or, for the same price, faster.MattAsus A7V333Athlon XP 2000+512MB Samsung PC2700Gainward Geforce4 Ti4600 GS

Athlon offers better price/performance ratio. The newer pentiums are faster but if you're looking in the 2Ghz range go for the AMD
