December 18, 200223 yr I know of many nice sticks for the right handed but I can not find any good for the left handed. can anyone help?
December 18, 200223 yr Actually, I think that joysticks for the "right-handed" should be build to be handled by the LEFT hand, so that the right is free for the keyboard and mouse. Don't you handle a real yoke in the left hand leaving the right for throttle, mixture, etc.???I use my Logitech Wingman Force 3D in my left hand, manipulating throttle with the pinky finger. The top buttons are a little clumsy, but I found them clumsy with my right hand anyway. There is a lefthanders FAQ at FAQ at http://www.cs.uu.nl/wais/html/na-dir/lefty-faq.htmlanswering your very question, but it may be somewhat dated.I saw the Saitek Cyborg 2000 advertised as "fully adjustable for the lefthanded" but have never used one.You might also try this site:http://thelefthand.com/lefhanjoy.htmlArt.
December 18, 200223 yr If you're chasing something for Flightsim, I'd suggest a yoke. Doesn't matter which hand you use for it ;)Left handed sticks seem few and far between these days. But if a yoke simply isn't viable, look for the Satieks as Art mentioned, they had a round grip, so you can use either hand.Good luck Cheers,John TavendaleTextures by Tavers - https://www.facebook.com/texturesbytavers
December 21, 200223 yr Saitek Cyborg 3D Digital (with or without FFB)... can be (literally) taken apart and rebuilt for either hand!Great IMHO :-)http://www.saitek.com/uk/prod/force.htm(edit: actually, the "taking apart" bit was for their older 'sticks. The new lot already come built for either hand)Cheers,Paulhttp://www.strontiumdog.plus.com/sbird.jpgOfficially licenced by British Airways plc for use of name and logo
