December 18, 200223 yr Hi.On some ocassions I get a complete system crash whilst using FS2002. The problem only exists with FS2002 and no other program. I will get a blue screen flash up with loads of writing on it, but then my system shuts down so quickly I can't read what it says. When I reboot the system I get this error message pictured below. I have seen a slider for the minidump settings somewhere on my system before but I can't find them again. My system specs are as follows.Windows XP Pro with SP1 installed / 1200mhz Amd Athlon / 320mb ram PC100 / Geforce2 Mx400 32mb 40.72 drivers / DirectX 8.1 / FSUIPC 2.93 / 40gig Hd 30gig remaining.Any help appreciated.Lee.
December 18, 200223 yr >>... I will get a blue screen flash up with loads of >writing on it, but then my system shuts down so quickly I >can't read what it says. ...I was getting the exact same, when I was running FS2002... then did an account-switch to another user. When I switched back, this symptom would occur as soon as I clicked on the FS2002 taskbar-icon to get it restarted.I kind'a wondered if M$ might not be doing some fancy optimizations which would fail in a user-switching environment, and that maybe the video was not being refreshed properly after coming back.So I just made sure never to user-switch when FS2002 is running, and I have never had it happen otherwise.Art.
December 18, 200223 yr What drivers are you running for your controller chips? I would also upgrade to FSUIPC 2.94. Bill Sieffert
December 19, 200223 yr HiThanks for the replys,Wsieffert. How would I find out the drivers I have for the control chips?. I will upgrade to FSUIPC 2.94 as well.artl I am the only user of this computer, I have only one user set up in the start-up screen.Could this be linked to a memory problem?.Cheers Lee.
