January 12, 200323 yr Hi guys,I have a question about, well you know, RAM. I have 512mb RDRAM @ 800mhz on a P4 - 2,53mhz pc with Asus mobo and Asus GF4-4400 video card. To boost performance would a upgrade to at least 1GB of Ram be significant? Or if cash is no option, an upgrade to 2GB? And at what speeds? Remain at 800mhz or upgrade to 1066mhz?Flyin' High,Matthew Niederbergerwww.fsmagazine.nl
January 12, 200323 yr If your system is operating well now, I believe it is a waste of money to add any more RAM. If you are doing CAD work and a lot of multitasking and your system is degrading then add more RAM. Bill Sieffert
January 13, 200323 yr Spend your money on the CPU,512 is plenty for FS2002 and most everything else. I have 512 and with FS02 running I still have around 250-270 free.David
