64meg nvidia GeForce4 MX Integrated GPU Problem

Featured Replies

Recently purchased an HP725n 512 meg DDR Ram XP2400 with above named vcard. Running XP Home Edition. Not bad for a low end system but I am not seeing chrome or reflections.dxdiag 8.1 shows everything works well.In FS, of course, everything is turned on, and I've tried various combinations of settings to get these features re-enabled.I have scoured the card settings and can't find anything different to do. Any ideas?Drivers appear to be 6.13.10.3150'sMilton

With the MX card, reflections don't work without additional lines added to the fs2002 cfg file. Do a search here or over at fssim and you'll find the cure.

Thank you.I installed the display.cfg as instructed. No change.I installed directx 9.0a; no change.I installed latest invidia drivers; no change. :-)I tried this with the new and old display.cfg; no change.Stubborn cuss this is... lolThis is how FS has it defined in the FS2002.cfg:Device=NVIDIA GeForce4 MX Integrated GPUMode=1600x1200x16UPPER_FRAMERATE_LIMIT=31TriLinear=1TnL=1AntiAlias=1BTW, this Integrated GPU is not listed in the display.cfg.In full screen mode, I get this anomaly, but not in windows mode. The bottom of the panel is cut off, then I keep getting purple squares showing and disappearing. lolMilton

Download and install gf4mxdsp.zip, find your card and remove the ";" from the two lines below the title of your card.

Bill,Thank you for your responses. I had read your response to Scott's same issue in another post and followed your directions and got chrome and reflections back.Since then, however, I have the above-described problem in full screen mode. This occurs with the changes suggested. Please see the attachment.I sincerely appreciate your assistance.Milton
