Left in the dark by CH Products ...what can I do ?

Featured Replies

Hi,I purchased a CH products Flight Yoke USB LE over a year ago and have only used it ....would you believe once !Thats not for the lack of trying and many emails to CH products !The problem is the Yoke is not recognised at all no matter what version of windows or computer USB port I try ..or all the software I have downloaded & tried from the CH website. If I plug in any other USB device I have no problem but this is the second Yoke I have had with a fault ...they replaced a first one that was faulty. I had one email back telling me to jiggle the wire a bit to see if there was a loose connection !.....I am a computer technician myself and wasn't pleased with that response. Since then no replies have come back from them & I am left with a Flight Yoke that can't be used and I am not sure where I could get it looked at in New Zealand. Feel a bit let down !Any one with a bright idea ?

HiI have the same problem with my CH yoke and the pedals, the usb ports simply wont recognize them anymore, i have tried on 3 different computers with no luck, very strange.I now use a cheap joystick, its really not the same, but i will never ever spend so much money again on a CH product.

Just a thought...you could gut another cheap USB joystick and put those circuits into your yoke perhaps. You might still get some use out of it.Of course that all depends on how comfortable you are with soldering."email back telling me to jiggle the wire a bit" :-roll -Leo
