FS METEO Servers Down

Featured Replies

I've trying to connect the past two days and no luck: both servers down. Anyone else having problems?

I've done considerable flying in the past few days and have had no problems with the FSMeteo servers. Latest flight for me (and successful weather download) was started today at 12:30pm EST.

Right you are. It was a problem with my connection. Thanks

Hi hassata,I too have been unable to access FSMETO. I'm not sure if it's the servers or something else because my 'Start' block is greyed-out (along with the others). I don't get the servers down message. The last time that happened (greyed-out options)I emailed for help and received an email from Marc Filibert telling me to delete the 'fsmeteo.ini' from the 'Windows' folder. It worked for me then, but has not - both yesterday and just now. I'm going to cry for help again.John Membrino

Hi assata,Well, as quite frequently happens, the problem was mine. When I went back one more time before contacting Marc, I noticed that none of the 'Internet Mode' buttons were selected. As a result, the program was not seeking my cable connection to access the server. After clicking on the 'Default Configuration' button, everything began to work just fine. How it got deleted is beyond me.

It was my screw up as well. Once I reselected the propoer connection, I was able to download with no problems. Flew out of Teterboro in overcast conditions. Props to Marc for a great product and service.
