June 29, 200322 yr I downloaded the latest 4403 deternator driver, and the Latest Nvidia Stereo 3D driver 4403, and find my Sidewinder Joystick does not work when I go 3D. I have XP home edition. Duron 1.2 ghz, 512 DDR ram, TI4200 Geforce 4 graphics card, A7N266-VM motherboard.Anyone else have this problem at all? Works fine if I don't go into 3D mode. If I go back to 2D The joystick still does not work, so have to end FS2002, and restart it Tried Vritual Sailor which I have also and the Joystick works in 3D, so the problem may only be with Microsoft FS2002?Any ideas on how to get around this problem, as it means I cannot use FS2002 when in 3D mode.
June 30, 200322 yr Try running directx diagnostic, press start, run..., type dxdiag, OK. Check each function including the input tab to see if everything seems in order.Next, rename fs2002.cfg to fs2002.OLD, restart fs2002 and let it generate a new fs2002.cfg. Select settings, assignments, and make sure your joystick is listed. If not, exit fs2002, and open device manager, select the gaming option (or whatever you OS calls it), and check to see if the joystick is listed. If not, try adding your joystick. If successful, restart fs2002, select settings assignments and ensure your joystick is listed. If it is listed, make the adjustments for buttons and axis and OK. Exit fs2002, then restart fs2002 (this saves your fs2002.cfg in case you have an error during fs2002 operation).Try the different visual modes and see if the problem is corrected. Bill Sieffert
