July 28, 200322 yr Hi all,Have rebuilt my system with Epox 8K9A board and Creative G4 Ti4800SE128mb video 8x AGP and my FS2002 does not run for very long, it stutters quite badly then hangs........:-( :-(I have been in contact with the board makers with temp, voltagereadouts, psu wattage and bios settings, nothing was said re this info so I've taken it to be ok.HD reformatted for fresh start.WinXP Home ( updated )DX90bCreative 44xx driversSB128 pci soundCH yoke/pedals ( gameport ) I have run the game Vietgong for a while and it ran smooth withno sign of trouble.thanks for any advice :DSteve
July 28, 200322 yr Did you reinstall/install the MOBO controller chip drivers, i.e., Intel, VIA, SiS, AMD, ALi. If not, find the drivers from the MOBO website or the vendor website and install.W. Sieffert Bill Sieffert
July 28, 200322 yr Hi,Many thanks for the reply :D thought I'd try deleteing the FS2002 cfgfile and let it rebuild on restarting the sim, not sure if this re configures the sim/drivers but it worked ok...:-) sim is running smooth and for nearly 4 hours now without a hitch including pausingto run the net and changing 4 different aircraft so I hope all is well now.cheers,Steve
