August 4, 200322 yr Sorry if this has been asked, but I just want to confirm. I had a weird system error and the BIOS was reset with different timings. I reset the cpu from 100MHz to 133, and it is reading correctly as 1400 now. Am I correct in thinking that I should set the memory at 266MHz?Thanks for the help,Todd
August 4, 200322 yr Hi Todd, you didn't mention exactly what RAM you have, but if it supports 266MHz FSB, that would be the best speed for your setup - you get the best performance, if your CPU and RAM speeds are synchronised (e.g. 2x133MHz = 266MHz).Cheers,Gosta.http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg
August 4, 200322 yr Hi Todd,for PC2100 RAM, 266MHz is exactly right :).Cheers,Gosta.http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg
