September 16, 200322 yr Would be used primarily to enhance FS2004/FS2002. Realize the simulations are CPU limited but looking for an overall improved image. The old Ti200 has been doing a good job for the last two years but I could get excited over any addition improvement. Currently running at 1600x1200/32 with acceptable FPS and all sliders maxed but water effects....Any suggestions appreciated...JayDubLian-Li Aluminum Case 400W Power SupplyAMD ATHLON XP 2400+Gigabyte GA-7VAX VIA KT400 Dynatron CPU CoolerWindows XP Home Edition /Windows ME Dual Boot512MB Corsair DDR 2400Maxtor 40GB 7200 Maxtor 30GB SlaveSony 16x DVD / 40x CD-ROMPlextor 16x10x40 CD-RWCreative Audigy XGamer 5.1MSI GeForce 3 TI200 Pro - 44.03 DriversViewSonic19 Inch Flat Screen ViewSonic ViewMate Office KeyboardCreative V.92 PCI ModemSaitek X36F/X35T Flight Control System
September 17, 200322 yr I replaced my Ti200 with a Ti4200 last spring and it didn't make much difference in Fs2002. I would wait just a bit. Nvidia is getting ready to release some new cards and that will change the price structure for all of the existing cards. Just my thoughts.Richard
