November 11, 200322 yr Try starting your computer in Safe Mode, Press F8 key just after the initial boot sequence clears and before the Windows Screen appears. Select the Safe Mode from the menu. Once the computer had loaded, enter Control Panel, Add/remove programs and uninstall any NVidia programs listed, and follow the instructions. It will have you reboot, and after the reboot, the WinXP default drivers will be loaded.Open Device Manager, open System Devices, and search for:Intel CPU to AGP ControllerVIA CPU to AGP, OR something similiarIf missing, you need to reinstall the MOBOs controller chip drivers. Usually the MOBOs manufacturer provides a copy. You can also get updated drivers from the chip manufacturer. Once you have the MOBOs controller chip drivers installed, reinstall the graphics adapter drivers. You can also get updated drivers from NVidia and elsewere.Make sure you have DirectX9.0b installed. Lastly, make sure you are not running your monitor at too high speeds.W. Sieffert Bill Sieffert
