When windows (XP Home) is loading the applications I have running I hear the 'Beep' sound several times. This is the 'Default Beep'sound. This has only started to happen recently. Any ideas would be appreciated.RegardsKeith B.

Check to make sure you have a sound scheme 'on' under control panel, sounds and audio devices, sounds tab.
