Glad to hear you got to the WinXP install stage. But..that's why I usually avoid bleeding edge technology for a year or so. I'll keep hooking up those clunky IDE drives for awhile longer,but I sure like the size and the way those serialATA cables look.David

Thanks David, I'm glad to have it heading in the right direction now :-) LOL...It's usually ME who is on the back edge of this stuff (where the prices are better) but gave it a shot this time as it might be my last upgrade, and prices are best I've ever seen.Man, you forget how many old programs you have on the HD and how many you updated since new AND all the ones that have "saved" files in them. Worth it each time, but until you get everything fully done and converted it's still a mess.So far the new SATA (and system)is running like lightning for me.. used to have time to pick up my coffee cup after I click "copy" but now it's done as my arm is moving towards the cup :-)Guess I'll just have to COPE :-)Back to software installing.. ::(: One of these days I might even get to FS9 !Best,
