In a few months, you should be able to get an Athlon 3200+, 1Gb Dual DDR and a Radeon 9800SE/Pro quite cheaply, and would probably be the most cost effective solution to your FPS problems.As long as you set sliders sensibly, and don't try and make it do too much, you should get 30FPS.

With a P4 1.7 CPU, I would think that your video card is a bottle-neck. Bruce.
