Ding Dong !

Has anybody got that annoying ding dong sound that goes off every 1/2 hour or so when the computer is playing, music or DVD, or in fact anything. Can it be disabled.just happened agtain !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Best Wishes,ChrisWindows xpAMD 3200 FX 51 64

Hi Chris,first you'd have to find out which program is playing that sound. It definitely isn't something that's automatically enabled in Windows or any of the programs I use. Without more information about your software, it's impossible to help you - for example, Outlook plays a 'ding' for incoming e-mails, when enabled, and countless other programs use sound effects as well....Cheers,Gosta.http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2betateam.jpg
