You might want to look at the FX5900 XT. This card is just like the FX5900 but the clock speed is lower. They are priced around $180 to $190 US and will outperform the FX 5700. Richard

If you want a Radeon I would look for a Radeon 9800 Pro. They are selling for around $225 US and will outperform the 9600xt. The FX 5900XT will also outperform the 9600xt.Richard

I've bought the FX 5900 today. That improved my framerate by about 30%. I also doubled my memory (from 512Mb to 1GB) what makes everything load much faster, but no real fps improvement here.thanks for the advices!regards,Thomas
