Terrible performance with Radeon9600XT

Last year I changed from a GF2MX400 64 MB to an Radeon 9600 PRO 128 MB (5..10% less performance than Radeon XT 128). My Settings are AA 4x and AF 8x. The FPS - Performance in FS9 is increased by Fachtor 2..3 and the Quality is much better (realy worth the Money). So i think, you have an other Problem. Maybe your FS9 must be reinstalled complete to recognize the new Video-Card (i had to do so twice) or your Graphicsdriver gets Conflicts with your System (try to download and install the newest Catalyst Driver from ATI, but deinstall your old Drivers before!).My Suggestion: FS9 sometimes not recognise the Change of an Videocard. The Simulator maybe work, but the Performance is very bad.My System (should be near to your System): - AMD Athlon XP 2000, 512 MB DDR-RAM, - RADEON 9600 XT 128, LG Flatron L1811S (18" TFT) - WINDOWS 2000 Prof., - Screen-Res. (Desktop and Direct-X) = 1280 x 1024 x 32Bit.My Driver-Version: ATI Catalyst 4.3 (not the newest, but works fine)

Changed today to ATI Catalyst 4.5 without Problems. For ATI Catalyst 4.6 problems are reported here in the Forum! Think about my last Posting and reinstalling your FS..Greetings, Heinz-Werner
