July 27, 200421 yr Hi Mike,Looks fine except for one issue... upgradability.AMD is at this time phasing out the 754 series CPU's in favor of the 939's. If you plan on keeping the system you outlined above for 12-24 months then it would be quite nice. But by the end of this year (and probably sooner) 939 based systems will be the norm. The only M/B available today for the 939 CPU's uses a VIA chipset, hence the reason I won't upgrade now. I'll wait until some nVidia chipset boards are available for the 939. Also, that 6800 will be cheaper in a few months. It's too bad that AMD is ending the 754 series of CPU... they offer very nice performance at a nice price.Hope this helps,Greg
July 27, 200421 yr Author thanks...I usually just buy a setup and dont touch it for a couple of years, so its sounds like this should still be reasonable to get, spending about $800 US. August 2, 200421 yr MSI boards are good performers, nice video card and I would definitely get a bigger power supply since the Nvidia cards use lots of power
