I would go back to http://www.asus.com/support/download/item....SLanguage=en-us and search the download page for BIOS update instructions. Some of the newer ASUS MOBOs can update over the internet, others have to be done using a boot disk. If your BIOS is higher than 1005 or higher, you can use AFUDOS BIOS Update Tool (AFWDOS211.zip)http://www.asus.com/support/english/techref/bios/afudos.aspx .Lastly, download the manual and manual update for more information on flashing the BIOS.W.
