August 18, 200421 yr Hello there.I'm looking into getting the ASA Flight Training Device, and I see that it includes an AV-1 radio stack. I've talked to ASA and they say that it is not compatible with FS2004. Just wondering if anyone has found a way to make the two work together? Thanks!
August 19, 200421 yr Hi,I have ASA's IPTrainer (similar to On Top I think). IPTrainer is a DOS application, or at least apperas to be. It must run on some sort of emu;ator in XP at least. I can't see how one could ever interface it with FS. But, if you ever find a way, I'd love to know :)Thanks,Bruce. ASEL, Instrument. KBJC, Colorado.
August 19, 200421 yr Hey Bruce.I know that the Precision Flight Controls hardware that comes with it is all compatible with MSFS, just not sure about the avionics stack. I'm guessing all of the hardware is compatible with OnTop, as they advertise it with that program. I think I'm going to buy the ATD, and just play around with it a bit, and if the avionics don't work in FS oh well, everything else will :D. Thanks Bruce, talk to ya later.
May 7, 200719 yr Hi,A year ago I made a program to interface FS2004 with AV-1.Just send me an email and I'll send you the program. I don't have yet a Web Page with the project. The handicap is that you must have a registered version of FSUIPC.I'm working on FSX (without FSUIPC) and X-Plane compatibility. Also still working on Power Quadrant communication. But if you use the program I'll be encouraged to make more modifications.Marcel
