Mouse pointer flickers on 2nd Monitor

Featured Replies

At least some of the time, when I unlock my GPS and put it on my secondary monitor off of my ATI Radion 9800 Pro card, the mouse pointer flickers erratically. This increases proportionally to the size I make the GPS.The pointer also flickers if I move the pointer back to my primary monitor. Moving the GPS display back to the primary monitor, or even to my third monitor which is off of a PCI Graphics card stops the flickering, but of course FPS decrease when it is on the third monitor off of the secondary graphics card.Anyone else having this response and possibly know what to do about it?Thanks:RTHP4C800 Deluxe MotherboardPentium 4, 3.2G CPU1G PC3200/400 MemoryWinXP ProDirectX9.0cATI Radeon 9800Pro 128MBSecondary Graphics Diamond Stealth III S540 PCI 21

May or may not have found the problem. (Sure hope so).It looks like one must be careful to be sure that ALL display settings are the same for both monitors. One time in the past, I reset my display resolution to be the same and the problem went away (for a while). Recently, I unchecked render to texture on my primary monitor, but failed to do the same thing on my secondary. Unchecked it on the secondary monitor before my last flight and everything was steady as a rock. She displayed beautifully with no pointer problems at all for one flight anyway. We shall see what we shall see.Happy flying:RTH
