Flashing menus in FS2004 on my 6800 Ultra using FSAA

I am trying to figure out how to fix flashing menus when using FSAA in FS2004 using my PNY 6800 Ultra. I'm using the official 61.77 Nvidia drivers. When I disable FSAA then I don't get flashing. I'm using one power cable from the power supply with the splitter to the 2 molex connectors on the video card. Should I use a second power cable for the second molex connector instead of the splitter. My power supply is a 431 watt Enermax.

It's not the menus that are flashing but when loading up an airport it the screen will flash a bit.

I now connected each molex to a seperate cable, still the flashing during changing screens and loading. Tried beta drivers, still there. Underclocked GPU to 350, still there.

i see a little flashing when fs2004 is loading, but not in game. it only flashes for a second right after i create my flight and the scenery starts to load. i have a 6800gt. i think only the 61.77 drivers do this. anyway, since the actual game itself looks fine, i never worried about it. i don't have any issues in other games at all.

This issue (and corrupted display when loading Navdata in 737NG from PMDG) is present since 60.XX series with a GF FX5900 Ultra, and worst IQ in FS2004, too. 53.03 or 53.04 were good enough (no flashing menus and good IQ with AA and AF with a GF FX). But your new VGA isn
