October 15, 200421 yr I've read some good reports regarding NOD32 as a virus scanner product. Went to the vendor site today and took a look. I'm still unclear as to whether this product has a firewall in addition to an "anti-virus" function.??I've just created a new instance of WinXP Home, and have a new fresh install of FS9 on it. When I go to this instance I'm disconnecting my internet connection for now until I get some form of internet security (which may be SP2 if NOD32 doesn't include a firewall). My original instance of XP (which includes my e-mail and many other apps) has NAV/NIS installed, but the magnitude of the stutters in FS9 there has prompted me to create this new XP instance (first since XP was purchased shortly after release).Any comments on NOD32 as either an anti-virus and/or internet security application? Thanks for any feedback,Bruce. ASEL, Instrument. KBJC, Colorado.
