All of my AI traffic has disappeared!!

Featured Replies

This is a new one for me. Suddenly I have no AI traffic. I don't recall making any changes to FS before this happened. FS loads normally including the 4-5 second delay while the window shows "Loading AI Traffic." When the sim finally starts though, no traffic anywhere. Not anywhere in the world! I can still pull up any of my AI a/c from the a/c menu and all of my flightplans are still there, as well as the traffic.bgl, etc., etc. Anyone ever heard of such a thing? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Check your fs2002aircraft folder for default.dp. Check your fs2002scenedbATCScenery folder for traffic.bgl. If any or all are missing, retrieve from your fs2002 CDs using an unzipping program. Search the *.cab files for the noted files, extract, and place in the folders noted. If you replace the traffic.bgl with the fs2002 default file, you will lose any addon AI flight plans you have installed.

This same thing happened to me once too. You need to have the default.db file in your FS2002/aircraft directory. If this is gone then your AI wont show. I once accidentally removed it and lost my AI but got it back from the FS2002 CD1.Jani

Thank you, sir. I'll get right to work on that!
