January 10, 200521 yr Hi.I have just returned from a full format, and have learnt a few things about the Microsoft .net 1.1 framework thingie, like Stay Away From It. anyway.I have this shiny new ATI based X800 PE 256 card, and after installing win xp pro and everything else, all seemed to be fine, but I am now receiving a message after boot up that new hardware has been found, but it can't find any drivers for it, either from the win xp cd, or the web.I have attached a few screen shots for you, and I am running the standard CAT 4.12 drivers, without the fancy control panel, as I found it made no difference whatsoever.I apologise if I'm wrong, but I honestly never noticed any.I am completely stumped about this development, and I'm buggered if I know what to doI appreciate any ideas or suggestions guy'sSteve.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/103218.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/103219.jpg

January 10, 200521 yr Hi Greg,:-waveas allways, you're da man . . :-eekI haven't spoken to you in a while, but you're pointer with the above problem of mine was absolutely spot on,:-halo thanks very much matey, and to you "flyinmisfit", thanks also,:-beerchug(I just love the name) it's very nice to be able to get help from others that have had similar problems, and have taken the time to post / reply to others cries for :-zhelpby the way Greg. I don't understand why they coulden't make an "inteligent installer" that would have installed those files if they were needed, if they were not, it woulden't install them. (does this sound stupid to anyone else!)I will have to watch out for that little bugger next time I up-date the drivers :-newburnthanks very much again both :-abduct
