January 21, 200521 yr I'm tryinging to cool my system and i need to have a # to compare what i have achieved to see if it made a difference. If you give me idle times there will be alot of factors to look at so i'm pretty sure they will vary from one system to another.Anyway what would be a comfortable temperature for fs9?
January 21, 200521 yr What type of CPU you do have first all. I know with my Athlon64 went it runs under a full load, the temperature is often around 45C, thats with the stock heatsink and using Arctic Silver. When Idle it is often around 34C and thats with a room temperature of 24C. I know the new P4's run much hotter but I don't have any temperatures for you.
January 24, 200521 yr I would say if it's under 55C when at a full load then that would be good. Like I said, I don't have an Intel so I can't say for sure, hopefully someone else will have more info.
