My FS2004 will not connect to multiplayer or the MS gaming zone.When I try to connect it freezes,the page file usage climbs to 2.0GB and the game crashes.An avsim forum search led me to Mcafee Privacy Service causing a similar problem so I removed that but it didn't fix it.If I stop AVG Anti-virus and ZoneAlarm it still crashes the same way.Maybe I need to open some ports or something but I don't know how to do that.I have a new Velocity Micro computor 3400+ AMD 1024RAM and Radeon 850X card .Any help would be much appreciated .Thanks -James

UPDATE-DXDIAG says I have a DirectPlay error 0x80138185 failure at step 9(creating session).I can't download a new DirectX 9.0c it keeps saying all components are installed when I run the runtime file from DirectX site.What can I do? Thanks -James

Download and install the entire DirectX 9.0c file, approx 35MB from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&DisplayLang=en . Cut and paste this entire url, if necessary.W. Sieffert
