Hi Trevor,You're most welcome. Everything looks good thus far!Responding directly to your questions:1) PC3200 would work great. With Athlon64's, it's known that they respond very well to low latencies and less with clock speed. If you're on a tight budget, just buy whatever brand name RAM you can find (e.g. Kingston, Corsair, Crucial etc.) but if you can afford it, try to get low-latency RAM e.g. Corsair TWINX1024-3200XL or OCZ PC3200 Platinum Edition Rev. 2.Different people have different opinions on low-latency RAM. There are some (many?) who feel that the slight increase in performance does not justify the large premium in price. Regardless, in balance, do not buy generic (no brand name) RAM - stick with brands that you trust.2) No. Even though you have an nForce4 chipset, ATI video cards will work just as well as NVIDIA ones. Performance only depends on which brand/model you believe in more.Hope this helps.Edwin

OK, I've gone for some Kingston RAM, KVR400X64C3AK2/2G. Cryptic name but I see it all stands for something meaningful. As for VC's, I really like the look of the HIS Excalibur cards, either the X800XL or X850XT. Looks like I can afford either of these if I source them overseas (can't get them locally, only in AGP, lower spec, higher price). Here's hoping...Trevor
