Hi,I've been reading through this forum for the last couple of weeks, looking for tips on what new system to build, and this is what I've come to conclude. Can anybody please give their opinion! Edwin referred me to the new ASUS A8N32-SLI motherboard. He posted a link to a review on it and it is definitely worth the extra $40-$50. I am planning on ordering a system very close to yours. You can see mine down a few posts.

Thanks for the reply Dutton. The shop I was looking at didn't have the A8N32-SLI, so I did a search for a new shop and found that is remarkably cheaper (about 100

Hi Tom,I'm a bit skeptical about this deal so please do make sure it is the A8N32-SLI Deluxe. The key is the "32" after A8N. That indicates that it uses NVIDIA's nForce4 X16 chipset. I'm skeptical for two reasons:1) The motherboard is still not yet widely available. For example, Newegg is out of stock.2) Many reviewers have complained about its high price. For example, Newegg is selling it for US$229. That's a far cry from your 100 Euros! If indeed it is the A8N32-SLI, then congrats! You've gotten yourself a fantastic deal!Edwin

Yea, I agree with Edwin. Everywhere I have seen it, it has been about $60 CAD more expensive.

Thanks for the replies. Maybe I've expressed myself badly, it is the Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe and with the new shop I save a 100

Hey Tom I plan to get a system for Christmas basically like your specs. I expect wtih a system like that, FS will be amazing even with heavy traffic, and loads of addons. I hope this system can handle FS2006 and everything else I throw at it when the time comes. I can't wait to order mine neither. I've never seen the true potential of FS like many screenshots I have seen on this site. I can't wait to start FS again.
