January 26, 200620 yr Sorry for the off-topic, although it is computer related :)I would like to hook up a webcam to my new system, and do an internet hookup with my daughter (we both have webcams already). Before I go and do something I'll later regret with my newly built system (which is going like a rocket and very stable), I have a question on any good substitutes for MSM.In the literature that comes with the webcam, instructions are to use it with MSM, and I've done this before so would have no questions about how to do that. But I keep reading about the security aspects of MSM, and wonder what there is out there that could substitute (be installed on both ends of the proposed webcam session) for it and not invoke security issues- and maybe do a better job?I have a hardware fiorewall, run AVG (payware version) anti-virus, and do a reg-clean and CC-Clean every day. But I'd rather not invite any unwanted critters into my system if I canb help it :)Thanks- Bruce. ASEL, Instrument. KBJC, Colorado.
