March 17, 200620 yr Hi guys, for some reason, when i go to start>run>regedit, it now comes up saying "regedit not a valid win32 application"Anyone know why this is and how I can correct this? Thanks in advance. Chase Barnett
March 17, 200620 yr Look in your windowssystem32 dir. if you see a file called "regedit.com" delete that, it takes over your normal regedit. And if you do have that .com file run an antivirus scan because regedit.com is Mallware
March 18, 200620 yr Author As odd as it seems, what if you do not have a system32 folder? Mine is gone! I think i got hit with the virus as soon as my norton expired. Chase Barnett
March 18, 200620 yr Huh?? no system32.. hmm you did not accidently hide the folder? what os you running?.. should be there, something is indeed not right if its not..what do virus scan say?
March 19, 200620 yr Author I forgot about that. Let me try to search for hidden folders. Chase Barnett
