I currently have a asus a8n-e motherboard, 6800gt graphics card, 1 gig of ram and an athlon 64 3000 cpu, is it worth upgrading to a athlon 64 3500 or will it not make much of a difference?Paul.

It depends - do you have the extra $200.00 to burn? If so, I'd say yes since FS9 is heavily dependent on the CPU. However, the actual % increase in speed you would see is hard to predict. BTW, for an extra $11.00 (based on newegg.com prices) you can buy the 3700+ San Diego chip with 1MB of L2 cache vs the 3500+'s 512KB.
