Jamie,do you have the ability to borrow a PCIex video card from a friend?. Just to test maybe there is something wrong with the AGP port itself on your mobo..

My AGP port is deffinately fine, Quake III runs very well so there's no reason why FS shouldn't run well. I dunno if I should download a program called FSTweak and see how I do with that. Can you recommend a professional I could speak to free of charge? Thanks,Jamie.

I've just found out whats wrong but I dunno how to solve the problem. I moved the hardware slider to the lowest and the sim works but that meant the graphics card was switched off. When I moved the slider to the middle, the problem reoccured as a result of the GPU being switched on. Anyone have any idea why the GPU is acting up? My other games like Quake III and everything else will run fine with the GPU but not FS.Thanks,Jamie.

What video drivers are you on right now??

I'm on the latest drivers just now and the lastest Direct X.

Not sure if this helps or not??http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=294I hate to say it..It appears the 6600GT AGP is having trouble with D3D...Others have had trouble in that arena also...If you would like to google your problem you should see what I'm talking about...I could only take a quick look so not catching all of the details...I have to get to work..I'd recommend a 7900GT level card...Need to look at your Power Supply also...Good Quality psu would be in order which meets the videocard's specs...

Thanks so much for helping, I've now solved the problem, only thing to do now is, try this patch which should hopefully work, if not, take the card back and try and get a refund.I couldn't thank you guys enough for this!Jamie

The driver works! Yipeeee! I feel great now! Thank you for posting that link, thats saved the day, my new processor has really paid off, runs like a bullet, just how I like it.Thanks guys!Jamie.

Well that is Fantastic!! I'm glad you were able to resolve it!!
