Did you reinstall your motherboard (mobo) controller chip drivers, e.g., Intel, Sis, VIA, NVidia, etc. If not, install the drivers.Secondly, ensure your are using the latest version of directX 9.0.Your sound problem might be caused by the above also.You should also update to WinXP SP2 after you have correct the above.W.
