Hi Everyone, today I was downloading a G500 file from Flightsim.com and I went to work in the yard, when I came back my screen was black and my computer was running. I tried to reboot but nothing comes up jsut runs, I tested my monitor but is still says no signal and displays that so I am at a loss on what may have heppend and I can't get it so do anyting in order to fix it. By the way 2 weeks ago my power supplied died and I replaced it and things have been fine. The only other thing I can think of is windows updates had installed something and was needing a restart and I had not restarted yet but I am not sure if that had anything to do with it. I am not that computer savy but I know enough when to stop. Any suggestions would be great as I am at a loss and have been looking to upgrade but I hope I have not lost everything. I have an extra hard drive that I back everyhing up on ans it is in the same computer and I did install FSX demo on it a few days agao. By the way it is a P4 2.4 with 1Gig of ram two harddrives and an NVIDIA 6500. 66000 if I remeber only 128 megs on the video card. Again any suggestions would be great. Thanks as always.Shayne

Shayne-I've had something similar happen to me before. What I did was unplug everything with the power off on the PC, wait a few minutes, plug everything back in and then turn on the computer. See if this works for you.Matt

Problem could be your RAM, when there is faulty ram you can get a similar situation. I see you have 1Gig, so assuming you have two pieces of 512MB runnin in dual mode,if so take out one piece and try to boot, it could just be that your memory got corrupted, if you have 1 strip of 1Gig, try testing it on another computer---->What I did was unplug everything with the power off on the PC, wait a few minutes, plug everything back in and then turn on thecomputer.Unless you take out the mobo batery, that doesnt do anything since thats why that bat is there to retain all settings when power is off.
