March 13, 200719 yr Commercial Member I recently purchased a NVidia BFG 7800GS OC 256Mb AGP card, however I have been lurking for video card settings suited for FS2004 and have not found anything on the forum (unless I am not using the proper phraseology).I switched from an ATI X850XT PE was was good, I was experiencing quite a few blurries due to (what seemed to me to be) the card not rendering fast enough.I still get blurries but not as badly, so I am thinking that my video card is not set for optimum quality/performance within FS2004.My Rig comprises of:Operating System System Model Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 (build 2600) Enclosure Type: Desktop Processor 3.00 gigahertz Intel Pentium 416 kilobyte primary memory cache1024 kilobyte secondary memory cache Board: IC7/IC7-G(Intel i875P-ICH5) 1.0/1.1Bus Clock: 200 megahertzBIOS: Phoenix Technologies, LTD 6.00 PG 12/28/2004 DVDRW IDE1008 [CD-ROM drive]3.5" format removeable media [Floppy drive] Hard Drives:HDS722516VLSA80 [Hard drive] (164.70 GB) -- drive 1, s/n VNRDMHC4C8MM5M, rev V34OA60A, SMART Status: HealthyST3250823AS [Hard drive] (250.06 GB) -- drive 0, s/n 5ND0F8K7, rev 3.03, SMART Status: Healthy 1024 Megabytes Installed MemorySlot 'A0' has 512 MB Slot 'A1' is EmptySlot 'A2' has 512 MBSlot 'A3' is Empty Local Drive Volumes c: (NTFS on drive 0) 250.05 GB 158.14 GB free f: (NTFS on drive 1) 26.21 GB 10.99 GB free g: (NTFS on drive 1) 41.94 GB 7.60 GB free h: (NTFS on drive 1) 41.94 GB 22.22 GB free i: (NTFS on drive 1) 20.97 GB 7.19 GB free j: (NTFS on drive 1) 6.36 GB 4.71 GB free Display: NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GSMatrox TH2GoMonitors: 1 24" Dell2405FPW2 FPQ17+ BenQ Lcd monitors1 Dell 16" CRTOther Devices:PFC Jetliner Column YokePFC Rudder Pedals CH Throttle Quadrant USB GoFlight HardwareNaturalPoint trackIR 4Virus Protection avast! antivirus 4.7.942 [VPS 000721-1] Version 4.7.942 Realtime File Scanning On Any help on this matter would be greatly Appreciated KROSWYND a.k.a KILO_WHISKEYMajestic Software Development/Support Sys 1: AMD 7950X3D, NOCTUA D15S, Gigabyte Elite B650, MSI 4090, 64Gb Ram, Corsair 850 Power Supply, 2x2TB M.2 Samsung 980s, 1x4TB WDD M.2, 6xNoctua 120mm case fans, LG C2 55" OLED running at 120Hz for the monitor, Win11. March 15, 200719 yr Well I don't use FS9 anymore...but I do remember most of my settings, at least the NVIDIA control panel part. AA & AF set to 4x, Texture Filtering set to High Quality and Vertical sync OFF. All others were left at default. Hope this helps you a bit, resolution was 1280x960.

I just had a death in my family so I have been gone for about a week. I will do some testing later this week.Kroswynd KROSWYND a.k.a KILO_WHISKEYMajestic Software Development/Support Sys 1: AMD 7950X3D, NOCTUA D15S, Gigabyte Elite B650, MSI 4090, 64Gb Ram, Corsair 850 Power Supply, 2x2TB M.2 Samsung 980s, 1x4TB WDD M.2, 6xNoctua 120mm case fans, LG C2 55" OLED running at 120Hz for the monitor, Win11. April 4, 200719 yr Hi Kroswynd, mes condoliances. Once you get back to testing (assuming your secondary VGA-output is used by the 4th monitor), perhaps try the following? Download MemStatus 2.50 (best via yahoo, google is useless) and only leave the MTH2G connected. Switch your GPU-driver to single display mode and measure how much RAM you're using, particularly VGA. Let MemStatus run in the background for a while (an hour or so). I could imagine it would help to connect the 4th monitor to a seperate PCI card due to lack of mem if your video card is using both ports. Just an idea... :-) Hope this adds to thoughts, kind regards Jaap Edit, it would be interesting to learn how much RAM consumption alters - if at all & vs a single display config? - whilst connected to the Matrox. FWIW, a beefed-up FS9 usually hovers around 160MB max over here
