pseudo-duo core somehow?

Featured Replies

This may be a silly question but is it possible to use two computers networked to get better performance from FS9?The reason being is that on EBay I can a used computer like mine for about a few hundred bucks. And for that price it would be worth it if I could network them somehow to get better overall performce.Would this be a pseudo-duo core somehow?I know that may be a stupid question. JSC-

The only thing that you could really do is use a second computer, along with WideFS, to drive extra programs such as ActiveSky, FSNavigator, or any other utility add-ons you may use. This would relieve your primary PC of these functions giving you a *small* performance improvement. The computers cannot combine processor power to work on the simulation itself. Given the potential for improvements are rather small, I would recommend against purchasing the additional computer if your ONLY motivation would be to improve flightsim performance.

Thanks, that is useful info!

If anything, I would get a laptop for that.
