Nvidia Drivers.

Featured Replies

Hi Gang.I'm running the 93.71's at the moment on an ABIT IC7 Max III Mobo, with a P4 3.40 CPU and a Gainward Bliss 7800 GS 512MB Graphics Card with a Hercules Digifire 7.1 Sound Card and 2 Gigs of RAM on Win XP Pro with SP2.What I wanted to ask is have there been any real improvements on the Nvidia drivers lately.I don't always change them just for the sake of grabbing the latest as some people report that they have not noticed an improvements at all.The one thing that I have noticed since changing the graphics card (properly I might add) from my old ATI one is that I don't have the aircraft viewer in FS 9.1 any more.I can live without this at a push, as I know whats in my hanger so to speak, but have any of the newer drivers made any real differences to anyone else, or is it pretty much a waste of time at the moment.I know that I can apparently get the aircraft viewer back by turning some of the graphics card settings down somewhat, but I like the pretty much maxed out settings that I enjoy at the moment.any suggestions would be most welcome.Thanks.

Steve.

Unlike the British Government, I actually Learn from my Mistakes..........

Windows XP Professional SP3, ABIT IC7 MAX3 MotherBoard, Intel P4 3.40GHz HT, 4Gigs RAM, Hercules Digifire Sound Card, Geforce 7800GS 512RAM Graphics Card, FS9.1, REX, ASv6.5, GE pro.FE.

I've actually just switched from Nvidia (7900gt) to ATI due to driver issues, tried so many and had problems with all of them (anti aliaizing). Have a read on the nvidia forum, theres lots of posts regarding fs2004 and their drivers.
