Hibernation to Save a Flight?

Featured Replies

Some add-ons make it difficult to save a flight and resume it without a hitch (e.g. PSS A32x). Does anybody know if it's possible to effectively save the computer's state (similar to hibernation - hiberfil.sys) and resume it whenever you want? As long as there's plenty of disk space, this seems like a perfect solution to saving flights. Thanks,Alden

Hi Alden, well, after a quick internal vote with other board members, you have been elected to be the official avid Avsim flightsimmer investigating this matter. ;-) Pls allow me to mention the board is split over this question. My guess is it works! :-) Good luck and kind regards Jaap

I will take to these duties like an overloaded A340 takes to the skies - it may be a bit slow, but darn it, it gets the job done! :-hmmm-Alden

>it may be a bit slow, but darn it, it gets the job>done!True, and if you turn on the APU too, that 5th "engine" will help the 340 climb even faster :-lol
