Help with Older CH Virtual Pilot Pro Yoke

Recommended Posts

Guest stormy2010

I still have my older CH Virtual Pilot Pro yoke and I wsa hoping to use it on my newer computer that does not have a 15 pin game port on the back. OS is Win XP. I purchased a Belkin USB Joystick Adapter/cable to 15 pin gameport and when I plugged in the yoke, cable/adapter into a front USB port, XP said "USB Device not recognized". I will be using a never used FS 2000 package and was hoping to use my old yoke instead of buying a new one. ANy ideas/help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Did you install some specific drivers for the yoke? There should be some available... perhaps even to download from their site?I had something similar once with an old joystick (I think it was Logitech but I'm not really sure). It came with an adapter from 15-pin to USB but it wouldn't just plug-n-play with XP, it had to be installed with specific software drivers...Good luck,Geoff
