On one of my laptops that runs Vista, there is a file that attempts to run on startup called taivistaupgrade.exe This was installed by myself when converting to Vista from XP using a vendor upgrade path, so I know where the file comes from.I would like to stop the file from wanting to start (I get the box asking me if I want to run the file) when I start up the laptop. I have gone to msconfig and looked at the startup services there but can see no reference to this file anywhere there. Can anyone please suggest a solution to this? Thanks, Bruce.
